Things do occur in shipping and we can tell you that we are careful how we pack orders, and when the goods leave our warehouse they are in perfect shape. If damage occurs during shipping you will need to keep the product for proof. Take a digital picture, have a copy of the tracking number of the parcel and a copy of your invoice from us. All of this needs to be forwarded to a canpar customer service representative, and a copy can be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org , but more important is to send it to email@example.com
as well as firstname.lastname@example.org you will need to send them a copy of your invoice as well as photos and the tracking number on your package. It is canpar that will reimburse for such problems, not Old Time Confections. Please be sure to put your tracking number and the invoice and the pictures in the email to canpar, AND DO NOT THROW OUT THE GOODS, as Canpar will want to send a driver out to inspect the damages. IMPORTANT: Please note we only give your credit if canpar takes responsibilty for the damage and ONLY IF AND WHEN THEY SEND US A refunds us the value of the goods, and then and only then do we issue you a credit.
Chocolate and candy that arrives melted is not the responsability of canpar nor is it the fault or responsibility of Old Time Confections. Melting chocolate or candy issues are the risk of the customer. It is very important that this is understood and the customer so that you realize if you are not willing to take the risk that you should not order Chocolate in the heat sensative months of the year. The other solution is that you can pay for freezer packs to be put in each box, at a cost of $2.00 a pack, we will put 3 in each box. These will be packs you can reuse for other things so please be sure to request them if you are not willing to take the risk upon yourself.
Please note that our policy is with or without the ice packs shipping is always the risk of the buyer.
We do not ship glass by courier and therefore pallet sized orders are a must for glass and cans of soda pop orders.
All shipping is at the risk of the customer and therefore Old Time Confections does not refund you for any damages.
